Health & Wellbeing
Our students take part in a variety of health and wellbeing sessions. These include regular visits to the gym or swimming pool, dance and movement groups, as well as rock climbing and arts groups.
SASH (Support and Advice on Sexual Health)
Working with Westminster City Council, BeyondAutism Post-19 has been developing a PSHE curriculum focused on teaching relationships and sex education. The partnership has led to shared expertise being used to create a bespoke curriculum for individual students.
Community Leisure Centres
Our students at BeyondAutism are part of their local communities. Each student has health and wellbeing outcomes linked to their individual Education, Health and Care Plan. We actively use public resources, such as leisure centres in delivering these outcomes. Each student follows their ideal week and includes the use of swimming pools and gyms. It isn’t unusual for our students to attend a Zumba class or rock-climbing session as part of their individual ideal week.
